Aggie Morton Mystery Queen: The Body Under the Piano

Over the next four days I will be telling you all about a charming series called Aggie Morton Mystery Queen by Marthe Jocelyn.

Aggie Morton is inspired by Agatha Christie the real-life Mystery Queen. Aggie Morton is a young girl living with her mother in Torquay, England in 1902. She is a very inquisitive young thing so when a body is found in her dance studio, Aggie takes it upon herself to solve the murder. With the help of her new friend, Hector Perot, they hunt down clues that they know will lead to the killer.

Having read Agatha Christie I was very curious to see if this series would be a good introduction for younger readers. It totally is! This series is so cute and fast-paced that any age reader will just fall in love with Aggie and Hector.

Side note: the covers to these books are some of the most adorable I've ever seen! I love them in my library!

This is a four book series that just gets better and better. You start falling in love with all the side characters and see Aggie and Hectors friendship continue to grow.

I hope you enjoy!

Now, go and READ!
