Aggie Morton Mystery Queen: The Dead Man in the Garden

This third book of Aggie Morton Mystery Queen takes our heroine, along with her mother, Grannie Jane and her best friend Hector to Wellsprings Hotel where her mother is needs recuperate in the rejuvenating spa waters. 

There is a rumor going around that there has been a recent murder at the hotel, so Aggie, Hector, and the very spunky Grannie Jane try to uncover if this really happened. When they stumble upon a body in the garden they have to wonder, is this the first murder or has multiple murders happened at this, seemingly, peaceful country spa before.   

I really enjoyed the side cast of characters in this installment. By this time in the series we love Aggie and her family, so having a good side cast was the perfect addition. 

I love how each of these books hones in on an aspect of Agatha Christies real life. The more you learn of her, the more these characters and even the settings make sense. Especially in this book. Not to say that you won't enjoy The Dead Man in the Garden without knowing the background, because you totally will! 😉
