The British Booksellers

Kristy Cambron, over the past few years, has become one of my favorite authors. She is a historical fiction adult writer that intertwines two different, yet connecting, storylines. 

The British Booksellers is her newest release and it was just stunning. It combines all that I love in a story: anything British, book stores, WWII and a sweet, clean, romance. 

The British Booksellers is about two competing British bookstores where the owners have a sorted past. They haven't talked in years and now find it difficult to work right across the street from each other. When a possible lawsuit and a devastating Luftwaffe blitz threaten their town, these two former lovers will have to work together to rebuild their community. Will helping each other soften and mend broken hearts? 

I love that there are clean romances out there that aren't sappy or shallow. This story had depth, heart and really great action scenes. The characters were real and I felt had great growth throughout the story. Just a masterpiece in my eyes!
